Moshiri esapane guru Herod shiknu wa an rapoketa, Yesu Yudea moshiri ta an Betrehem kotan ta hekatu nisa ruwe ne; awa, ingarʼan, moshiripa wano pawetok koro utara Yerusarem kotan ta araki wa ene hawe okai-hi :—

Mosir esapane kur Herod siknu wa an rapoketa, Yesu Yudea mosir ta an Betrehem kotan ta hekatu nisa ruwe ne; awa, inkar=an, mosirpa wano pawetok kor utar Yerusarem kotan ta arki wa ene hawe okay hi :—

του δε ιησου γεννηθεντος εν βηθλεεμ της ιουδαιας εν ημεραις ηρωδου του βασιλεως ιδου μαγοι απο ανατολων παρεγενοντο εις ιεροσολυμα

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem,

λεγοντες που εστιν ο τεχθεις βασιλευς των ιουδαιων ειδομεν γαρ αυτου τον αστερα εν τη ανατολη και ηλθομεν προσκυνησαι αυτω

saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we saw his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

ακουσας δε ο βασιλευς ηρωδης εταραχθη και πασα ιεροσολυμα μετ αυτου

And when Herod the king heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

και συναγαγων παντας τους αρχιερεις και γραμματεις του λαου επυνθανετο παρ αυτων που ο χριστος γενναται

And gathering together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ should be born.

οι δε ειπαν αυτω εν βηθλεεμ της ιουδαιας ουτως γαρ γεγραπται δια του προφητου

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

sekor an itak ueinkar kur nuye kampi-sos kasike ta a=nuye wa an kusu, Yudea mosir un Betrehem kotan ta hekatu kusu ne, sekor ne utar ese nisa ruwe ne na.

και συ βηθλεεμ γη ιουδα ουδαμως ελαχιστη ει εν τοις ηγεμοσιν ιουδα εκ σου γαρ εξελευσεται ηγουμενος οστις ποιμανει τον λαον μου τον ισραηλ

And thou Bethlehem, land of Judah, Art in no wise least among the princes of Judah: For out of thee shall come forth a governor, Which shall be shepherd of my people Israel.

τοτε ηρωδης λαθρα καλεσας τους μαγους ηκριβωσεν παρ αυτων τον χρονον του φαινομενου αστερος

Then Herod privily called the wise men, and learned of them carefully what time the star appeared.

Aige, Betrehem kotan orun payere wa ene itak-hi :— Echi paye wa pon aiai orushpe tomte no hunara wa nu yan. Aine, echi pa chiki kanna-shui hoshippa wa en nure wa en kore yan, orota kuani ne yakka ku oman wa ongami ku ki gusu ne na, sekoro itak.

Ayke, Betrehem kotan orun payere wa ene itak hi :— Eci=paye wa pon ayay oruspe tomteno hunara wa nu yan. Ayne, eci=pa ciki kanna-suy hosippa wa en=nure wa en=kore yan, oro ta kuani ne yakka ku=oman wa onkami ku=ki kusu ne na, sekor itak.

και πεμψας αυτους εις βηθλεεμ ειπεν πορευθεντες εξετασατε ακριβως περι του παιδιου επαν δε ευρητε απαγγειλατε μοι οπως καγω ελθων προσκυνησω αυτω

And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search out carefully concerning the young child; and when ye have found [him], bring me word, that I also may come and worship him.

οι δε ακουσαντες του βασιλεως επορευθησαν και ιδου ο αστηρ ον ειδον εν τη ανατολη προηγεν αυτους εως ελθων εσταθη επανω ου ην το παιδιον

And they, having heard the king, went their way; and lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

And when they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

και ελθοντες εις την οικιαν ειδον το παιδιον μετα μαριας της μητρος αυτου και πεσοντες προσεκυνησαν αυτω και ανοιξαντες τους θησαυρους αυτων προσηνεγκαν αυτω δωρα χρυσον και λιβανον και σμυρναν

And they came into the house and saw the young child with Mary his mother; and they fell down and worshipped him; and opening their treasures they offered unto him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.

And being warned [of God ]in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Ne utar paye wa isam okake ta, inkar=an, Kamuy uytekpe wentarap ani Yosep oro ta ek hine ene itak hi :— Herod anakne ayay rayke kuni ne hunara kusu ne kusu, hopuni wa ayay unuhu tura Ecipt mosir or ta ekira, Kuani Ku yep e nure kuni pakno ne kotan ta okay yan, sekor itak.

αναχωρησαντων δε αυτων ιδου αγγελος κυριου φαινεται κατ οναρ τω ιωσηφ λεγων εγερθεις παραλαβε το παιδιον και την μητερα αυτου και φευγε εις αιγυπτον και ισθι εκει εως αν ειπω σοι μελλει γαρ ηρωδης ζητειν το παιδιον του απολεσαι αυτο

Now when they were departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I tell thee: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

And he arose and took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt;

mosir orun paye ruwe ne; awa, Herod ray wa isam pakno ne mosir or ta okay: tapanpe anakne, Utarpa oro wano ueinkar kur ci=itakte hawe-he :— Ecipt mosir orowa Ku Poho Ku=hotuyekar na, sekor a=ye itak a=ueomare kuni kusu an okaype ne ruwe ne.

και ην εκει εως της τελευτης ηρωδου ινα πληρωθη το ρηθεν υπο κυριου δια του προφητου λεγοντος εξ αιγυπτου εκαλεσα τον υιον μου

and was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt did I call my son.

τοτε ηρωδης ιδων οτι ενεπαιχθη υπο των μαγων εθυμωθη λιαν και αποστειλας ανειλεν παντας τους παιδας τους εν βηθλεεμ και εν πασιν τοις οριοις αυτης απο διετους και κατωτερω κατα τον χρονον ον ηκριβωσεν παρα των μαγων

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the male children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had carefully learned of the wise men.

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,

Rama kotan ta hawe anu, Chish ambe newa poro yaituwashkarap an, Rakeru anak ne koro poho gusu chish; Aige isam wa gusu aratchire eaikap, — sekorʼan itak auweomare ruwe ne.

Ram kotan ta hawe anu, Cis anpe newa poro yaytuwaskarap an, Rakeru anakne kor poho kusu cis; Ayke isam wa kusu a=ratcire eaykap, — sekor an itak a=ueomare ruwe ne.

φωνη εν ραμα ηκουσθη κλαυθμος και οδυρμος πολυς ραχηλ κλαιουσα τα τεκνα αυτης και ουκ ηθελεν παρακληθηναι οτι ουκ εισιν

A voice was heard in Ramah, Weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children; And she would not be comforted, because they are not.

τελευτησαντος δε του ηρωδου ιδου αγγελος κυριου φαινεται κατ οναρ τω ιωσηφ εν αιγυπτω

But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

Aiai inotu ehunara utara rai wa okere gusu, hopuni wa aiai unuhu tura wa Israeru moshiri orun paye yan, sekoro itak.

Ayay inotu ehunara utar ray wa okere kusu, hopuni wa ayay unuhu tura wa Israeru mosir orun paye yan, sekor itak.

λεγων εγερθεις παραλαβε το παιδιον και την μητερα αυτου και πορευου εις γην ισραηλ τεθνηκασιν γαρ οι ζητουντες την ψυχην του παιδιου

saying, Arise and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead that sought the young child’s life.

ακουσας δε οτι αρχελαος βασιλευει της ιουδαιας αντι του πατρος αυτου ηρωδου εφοβηθη εκει απελθειν χρηματισθεις δε κατ οναρ ανεχωρησεν εις τα μερη της γαλιλαιας

But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither; and being warned [of God ]in a dream, he withdrew into the parts of Galilee,

και ελθων κατωκησεν εις πολιν λεγομενην ναζαρετ οπως πληρωθη το ρηθεν δια των προφητων οτι ναζωραιος κληθησεται

and came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, that he should be called a Nazarene.
